Moving weight you already have
When weight moves inside the aircraft, the total weight does not change — only the moment does. The FAA weight-shift formula: weight moved ÷ total weight = CG change ÷ distance moved.
Rearranged, it answers three questions: how far does the CG move (ΔCG = w × d ÷ W), how much must move (w = W × ΔCG ÷ d), and how far must it go (d = W × ΔCG ÷ w).
