The whole procedure
1. Get the aircraft’s current basic empty weight and moment from its weight-and-balance record, and its limits and station arms from the POH/AFM.
2. Weigh or reliably estimate every person and bag. Convert fuel to pounds.
3. Fill in weight × arm = moment for every row; total weight and total moment; CG = total moment ÷ total weight.
4. Check the total weight and the CG against the envelope — at takeoff and after fuel burn at landing — and every station limit.
5. If anything is out of limits, change the loading and calculate again.
