The wing’s average chord

The mean aerodynamic chord (MAC) is the chord of an imaginary rectangular wing with the same aerodynamic characteristics as the real one. Its leading edge (LEMAC) and trailing edge (TEMAC) are given as arms from the datum.

In the HX-4 Trainer: LEMAC 25.9 in, MAC 58.8 in, so TEMAC is at 84.7 in.
