A CG that travels
Fuel leaves from the tanks’ arm (48 in). Removing weight from behind the CG moves the CG forward; from in front of it, aft. The further the tanks are from the CG, the faster it moves.
Because burn removes weight from one arm, the point on the envelope moves along a straight line. Checking both ends is enough on a simple envelope; on an envelope with a notch or a separate landing limit, check the whole line.
